5 Main Roles of the Family in Autism

The family will have great task of directing their children.

As well as, provide them all the optimal conditions for the boy or girl with Autism to develop in an environment of equity, integrity, dignity and love.  In addition, the family must be the setting suitable that enhances the capabilities and strengths of boys and girls with autism so that, can have one inclusion Social timely. with a base solid, those kids I know will convert in future functional and happy adults.   

Some of hehe main roles that the family with a member with Autism, they must execute are: 

  1. Participate in spaces for evaluation, discussion, design, formulation of treatment and training plans.  

For this, the parents or persons in charge must document and study everything related to the process. This manner, parents are empowered and will know identifycar what It is the best for your children. The development of treatments must be decision taken as a team including essentially to the parents. It is important to point out that all children they will respond differently from the treatments. Because, the importance of knowingthe specific needs of your children in order to design an individualized plan.  

2. Defend your rights and responsibilities and foment the development of their autonomy and independence.  

In the end, the mission it must be that the little boy or girl with Autism, develops in such a way that he or she can become a functional and independent adult. a lot goes to to depend from the intervention early, consistency, modeling of heparents and familyas well as significant others. In this aspect, will be necessary for the family have counseling, psychoeducation and psychosocial monitoring. This will allow the family to evaluate each step, measure achievements, and reformulate new goals on an ongoing basis.  

3. Provide them with the necessary conditions to reach and maintain adequate overall health, including the aspects physical, psychomotor, mental, intellectual, emotional and affective.   

therapeutic follow-up, of specialists, periodic monitoring, reassessments, area educational and trainingthey will be necessary tools to achieve the integral health of the boy or girl with Autism. Healthy habits, prevention and good hygiene are also areas that the family must ensure be covers   

4. Provide the necessary conditions for recreation and socialization. 

Even though it may be all challenge, this role is very important. You have to be  ready to try and make mistakes. The recreation not only helpto to  whatEU andhe little boy have fun and do that For nature this called to do: play. Otherwise  too will allow others join important components for its development  como it is the confidence in your environment.  

5. Educate them with love, understanding and tolerance. 

For the family to achieve this role, it will be guaranteeing to a certain extent that the boy in the  future will protect against practices discriminatethird-party inatories. And it is that the little boy that  is polite with these three virtues, developto a confidence full, So as a  tohealthy self-concept.
