DRAW RULES

In gratitude to the donors of the Education and Rehabilitation Society of Puerto Rico (SER de PR), the raffle for Three (3) EcoFlow Delta 2 Max portable solar batteries will be taking place, as well as round-trip economy class tickets for ( 2) people to any part of the United States. Four (4) winners will be selected.

This raffle is valid for residents of Puerto Rico and the United States, and over 21 years of age.

HOW TO TAKE PART:

Donate the amount of $10 or more to SER de Puerto Rico through ATH Móvil, in the “Donar” or “Donate” section, using the pATH or entity name “SERdePuertoRico” during the participation period.

If the person wishes to participate in the draw more than once, they must make separate donations of $10 or more through ATH Móvil.

DRAW VALIDITY: The draw will begin on August 1, 2023 and entries will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. (Puerto Rico time) on August 21, 2023. Participations will be accepted within this period and in the manner indicated above.

ELIGIBILITY: All natural persons residing in Puerto Rico and the United States of twenty-one (21) years of age or older are eligible to participate in this draw. SER de PR reserves the exclusive right to determine the validity of the entries and to reject them if they do not meet the raffle requirements. SER de PR will not accept, nor is it responsible for, names, addresses, telephone numbers or other registration data that are incomplete, illegible, incorrect or in the case of anonymous donors.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES: By participating in the draw, the participants grant their full acceptance of the terms and conditions contained in these rules, which constitutes a binding legal agreement between the Education and Rehabilitation Society (SER) of Puerto Rico Inc. and the participant, thus waiving the allegation of not having read or understood the rules of participation.

​WINNER SELECTION: Four (4) winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries. Winners will be randomly selected through an electronic computerized system operated by Evertec. In addition, four (4) alternate winners will be chosen, in case each prize is not claimed in the corresponding time.

DATE: On August 22, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., the two (4) winners will be selected.

NOTIFICATION: The winner of the prize will be notified through the telephone number provided when making the donation, and through our page facebook.com/serpuertorico. SER de PR does not assume any responsibility for telephone numbers that do not answer the call. It is the responsibility of the donors to be attentive to these publications or call SER after August 22, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to know the names of the winners.

PRIZE CLAIM: The winner will have until 11:59 am on September 1, 2023 to claim the prize. In case of not claiming it during that period, the winner will lose the right to the prize and it will be awarded to the alternate winner who will have 5 calendar days from the notification to claim it. The alternate winner does not claim his prize either, it will be declared vacant. All the details of the delivery of the prize will be discussed with the winner after being selected.

The winners expressly authorize SER de PR to publish their photos, names and other pertinent information on the SER de PR page on Facebook and in any other digital medium where SER de PR is promoted, in the press and in any other type of publication. that is considered convenient.

When collecting the prize at the place designated by SER de PR, the winner will have to sign a document of acceptance, authorization and release of responsibility. During this visit, you must present a valid photo ID issued by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or the United States government.

WARNING; The delivery date will be coordinated in advance so that they can make the arrangements and pick up at the SER de PR facilities to take photos and sign the delivery and relief documents. SER de PR, Evertec, Power Solar LLC, Connections Travel, are not responsible for the shipment of EcoFlow Delta 2 Max portable solar batteries outside the jurisdiction of Puerto Rico.

PUBLICITY: With the acceptance of the prize, the winner gives his consent and confers the right, but not the obligation, to SER de PR and his advertising, promotions and public relations agency, to use his name, town of residence and/or photos in any media without further notice or compensation.

CONDITIONS: First (3) prizes, each consisting of one (1) EcoFlow Delta 2 Max portable solar battery. The (4) prize consists of (2) round-trip economy class tickets for two people, valid for one year from the date of the draw, to anywhere in the United States. Tickets cannot be used during periods of high demand and reservations must be made one month in advance. Prizes are not transferable and are not subject to exchange for cash. By participating in this draw, participants agree to abide by the strict application of these Rules in all their terms, as well as certain restrictions and conditions of the prizes as they apply with Power Solar LLC, Connections Travel and the decisions of SER de PR.

LIABILITY RELEASE: With the mere participation in the draw, the participants accept that SER de PR or its advertising agencies, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents involved in this draw, nor Evertec Group, LLC (including its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates and subsidiaries; hereinafter “Evertec”), neither Power Solar LLC., nor Connections Travel shall be responsible for, and are relieved by, participants and their respective family members and guests, from any and all claims for direct or indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential losses or damages suffered by the participant and/or their guests, and that arise from or are related to (i) their participation in the draw; (ii) these Rules, their compliance or breach; (iii) the stages of claiming, delivery or use of any of the prizes; or (v) the negligence or acts of the participant or any other participant, food or drinks ingested. In addition to the waiver that you have to sign, the mere acceptance of the prize constitutes a waiver of this responsibility.

In no event shall SER de PR, Evertec, Power Solar LLC, Connections Travel be liable for any damages, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the ATH Móvil service (including the donation module) or www.athmovil.com. Nor will SER de PR or Evertec be responsible for the actions of users who issue payments or donations through ATH Móvil or for the conditions of the payment issued. This liability waiver applies to any damage caused by error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or malfunction of the transmission line in relation to the use of ATH Móvil. The sponsors of the event, Evertec, Power Solar LLC, Connections Travel, their directors and employees, including their owners, employees and managers, are released from all liability.

INDEMNIFICATION: The participant agrees to indemnify SER de PR, its affiliates, subsidiaries and their respective representatives, employees, directors, officers, distributors and subcontractors, and Evertec, Power Solar LLC and Connections Travel from and against all claims, actions, obligations , losses, expenses, damages and costs derived from or related to (i) the use by the participant of the ATH móvil account of another person, (ii) the breach of the participant with these Rules; (iii) any false representation of the entrant to enter the sweepstakes; or (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of SER de PR that may cause the draw to be interrupted or altered. This obligation will be for a term of 12 months from the day of the draw.

RIGHT TO CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION: In the event of causes beyond its control, SER de PR reserves the right to modify these Rules, assign new dates for the beginning or end of this draw, or cancel the draw, if necessary. Also to move the date of the event or provide an alternative prize if for reasons beyond the control of SER de PR it cannot be carried out.
