Action Plan for the prevention of influenza, mycoplasma and coronavirus

As is public knowledge, during this week the Government of Puerto Rico reported that it is investigating the first suspected cases of COVID-19 on the island. In addition, there has been a significant increase in cases of influenza and mycoplasma.

Therefore, we emphasize the recommendations that we have provided since January 2020 and effective immediately:

1. Any employee, student or participant who presents symptoms will not be able to stay in any of our centers.

to. Symptoms include: cough, fever, runny nose, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches, chills

2. To return, you must present a medical certificate that establishes that you can return and that you do not represent a risk of contagion.

In addition, we reiterate the prevention measures shared since January 2020:

1. Frequent hand washing, for a minimum of 20 seconds, following the recommendations in an appropriate way of washing.

2. In case of not having access to handwashing, the correct use of antibacterial liquid (hand sanitizer), up to a maximum of five (5) times.

3. Cover yourself correctly when coughing or sneezing, using the forearm.

4. Use disposable media (Kleenex, paper towels, or napkins) and discard immediately after first use.

5. Avoid physical or close contact, including avoiding kissing or shaking hands.

6. Try not to touch your eyes, nose and mouth.

7. All bathrooms will have soap, blotting paper or blower. If you visit the bathroom and do not have supplies, please immediately notify the maintenance staff.

8. All main areas must have accessible antibacterial liquid (hand sanitizer).
